Important to say that he’s basing his claims on second hand knowledge and he’s been demonstrating controversial anti scientific claims (climate change denier and far right ideas). So, although he’s a high ranking officer, he only brought his opinion on this particular instance, and he’s been known to have weird opinions. Not a credible person imo (sadly).

That’s a stupid argument. “Don’t believe what he says because he’s a right winger and what he said is ‘weird.'” I’d say that your opinion is more anti-scientific than anything Nell has said.
